HELLO 你好!

I am​ Lim Ka Min 我是林佳敏

A bilingual Translator, Teacher, Journalist, Storyteller, Marketing Manager,

 a Giver and sometimes a Perfectionist.

I am a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who possesses diverse work experience in the field of

communications, education, marketing and public relations.

Currently, I am a member of the National Translation Committee’s Chinese Resource Panel,

for the term 2024 to 2027.

I completed my Masters of Arts in Translation and Interpretation at Nanyang Technological University in 2023 

(I made it to NTU on my 8th application attempt) while juggling full-time work.

I am also one of the six recipients of the the Translation Talent Development Scheme (TTDS) 2020/2021 

by Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI) .

I graduated from Murdoch University (Australia) in 2016 with the

Communications and Media Studies and Public Relations (Double Major), 

while working as a primary school relief teacher in my ala mater.

I speak, I write and I have been playing the erhu since 2002.

Pit stop - June 2021 || Indeed, a timely reminder: “Everyone has their own timeline.” Feeling blessed and really thankful for the many opportunities! Despite challenges, I will keep learning and growing.
